Since our admission tickets were good for the whole day, Ariel, Morgan and I decided to go back to the gardens after dark to see the Chinese Lantern exhibit.
The theme this year was birds
I think the kids enjoyed being out in the dark
There was a gorgeous display on the water.
We walked around for about an hour. We tasted some "moon cakes" which are traditionally served during lantern festivals. Morgan and I liked them but Ariel decided to save hers for daddy :). After seeing everything there was to see, we took one last quick run through the maze in the dark and headed home after a much enjoyed day at the Botanical Gardens.
