Getting Ready for Alberta Feb. 25

We are getting excited for our upcoming trip to Alberta. We fly into Calgary on Saturday and drive to Banff for the weekend.This is me, Ariel (look how little she is) and Mark on our last family trip to Banff in June 1999

After Banff, we stay in Calgary from Monday to Thursday and see the town. This trip we hope to visit the Calgary Zoo and the Royal Tyrell Museum to see the dinosuars. We have been to the dino museum before when we spent a few days in Edmonton in April 2004.

This is Mark and Ariel in the Denovian Gardens. They are looking for fishes. The gardens are in an office building in downtown Calgary and it is free of charge to go and walk around.


And this is just a really cool building we saw when we had dinner on the top of the Calgary Tower.

Then on Friday we are driving to Edmonton and spending the next couple of nights with Jim Rudy and Anne Laviolette before heading home Sunday March 5th.

I plan to start packing on the 20th so Karen and I can call each other and share our packing woes.
