Butterflies at the Botanical Gardens

Yesterday Jarad and I went to the Botanical Gardens with my friend Susan and her kids Tristan and Brianna. We went to see the Butterflies Go Free.

"Come on Jarad, the butterflies are this way" says Tristan in the lead.

"There's one Mommy!"

"I think I see one in here, Jarad"

"I know there are a whole bunch flying way up high"

Here are a few of the butterflies we saw:

Jarad is sitting with his butterfly friend. The butterfly was not sick, just resting and Jarad enjoyed sitting and watching him.

A couple of them found another place to stop and rest.

Brianna, Tristan's little sister who is 2 1/2 months old, was rather unimpressed with the butterflies and just took a nap instead.

It was the perfect day to go and see these beautiful little creations flying around. Ariel and Morgan are now jealous their little brother got to go without them and are plotting a way to get us to take them on the weekend. I believe they are at the gardens until April 30th, so maybe we will get back there again.
