At Lake Carmi, we saw more animals than we did while in Maine. Here are a few of our favorites:
Of course we caught some frogs
Of course we caught some frogs
And this time a duck as well (who was released after pictures were taken)
This female mallard was sure we had something good to eat while we were sitting down at the beach (we didn't however and eventually she flew off in disgust)
This fellow stopped by the campfire one night. Mark made sure that Mr. Le Phew knew he was these so there were no unpleasant surprises for anyone
And these guys were regular morning visitors to our sight, looking for the peanuts I would toss to them.
The rabbits would come out at sunset in a site close to ours
We would often see this young bald eagle soaking over the marsh looking for a snack
We have seen lots of Blue Heron, but this was our first Green Heron
And we saw this scary thing in camp one afternoon. I think it might be a young Bigfoot :)
