Looked like rain so we packed up early and left Wednesday evening instead of Thursday morning. Had a great time, sites were nice and private, only complaint is there was only one comfort station between two camp areas and it was a long, long walk. Showers had their own doors on the side of the building and it was very clean. Had a laudromat there as well. Roads were 1 way and so not practical to drive around, but it was safer because only had to watch 1 way for cars. A lot of campers brought bikes. Beach was close. Hiked enough to the bathrooms, so didn't try the trail. It was quite hot during the day, but managed to keep moving around the site for shade. Was still warm enough to swim in the evenings, but it cooled off nicely for sleeping once the sun went down. Great firepits with a grill over half as well.
