Sitting on Things - Part 1

Most of you know by now that we were adopted by a cat we have named Morris, due to his resemblance to a certain Tuna loving feline.

Morris found me in the parking lot of a Jean Coutu drug store, hopped in the car and has been here with us ever since.

He has several interesting personality traits. The one I am going to tell you about today is his love of high places. He really enjoys getting up on the highest possible surface in any place he happens to be. We have seen him on top of the china cabinet, TV armoire, cupboard doors etc. I happened to have my camera ready for his latest adventure outdoors.

We had some squirrels breaking into a bag of peanuts on the deck. Morris was not impressed by the invaders on his territory so he ran outside to get them.

Here he is up on the BBQ, quietly observing the squirrels. Maybe he is deciding what we should cook tonight?

He proceeded to chase the offending squirrel on to the roof and to the big tree near the front of the house.

Here he is on his way back down

And this is a little later on, sitting on top of the wood pile.

I will try and catch him in the house sitting in an unusual place.
