Mark and the kids would go out in the canoe to hunt for turtles. I think we brought 6 or 7 home and to grandma's pond.
Hunting for frogs

Hannah and Spencer are the children of Jason & Michelle. Orson and Quebrick (not photographed on this trip) are the children of Cathy and Curtis.
Riding on the pontoon boat
One of the highlights for Morgan was getting to go fishing with Russ and Mark. He had been asking me from the day we arrived if he could go and I kept telling him "No" since I thought he would get bored on a 2 1/2 hour fishing trip, but he had a grand time and actually caught the most fish that night.
Puttering around in whatever kind of boat was just sitting around. Russ fixed up the little motor so Mark could take the kids around on this little boat.
We had a lovely time visiting this branch of the Thompson clan. I have one more post to go to show you what the kids and I did one evening. So one more to come...
