For the couple of years, Morgan has been wanting to make some chocolate mice cookies. I finally found a nice and easy recipe and we made a batch:
How to make chocolate mice:
2 squares semi sweet chocolate
3 tbsp sour cream
1 1/2 cup chocolate crumbs
Melt the chocolate squares. Add the chocolate to the sour cream in a bowl. Stir in 1 cup of the chocolate crumbs. Refrigerate for 1 hour. The to dough by teaspoon and roll in the other 1/2 cup of chocolate crumbs. Shape into mouse shapes, making one end more pinched to look like the snout. We used Smarties for the ears and the long sprinkles for the whiskers and eyes. Makes about a dozen, depending on how big you make your mice. We were planning to save some for Santa, but they were just too yummy!!
