We left Banff early in the morning and drove to Calgary. We arrived at the Sheraton to find that the indoor pool with the waterslide is closed this week. Very, very bad news!! Mark spent a little time with the man at the main desk while the kids and I had a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. We worked things out and decided to stay here after all. To their credit, they have tried to make it up to us. We have access to the Club Floor, with free breakfast every day of our stay. There are also nightly h'ors d'evres and cocktails. There is a YMCA next door and we get free daily passes to the pool until the hotel pool reopens on Wednesday. Plus they gave the kids some toys as they came in.
Here are some pictures from inside the room, which is quite lovely. We had a fun day exploring the hotel, playing in the room and swimming at the YMCA.
Tomorrow we are off to see the dinos at Drumheller.
