Back from Algonquin

We are back from our trip and we had a really good time.

Early on Monday the 26th and pulled into the park around 12:30pm. Here is the entrance to the park:

Before we even set up our trailer, we saw our first moose right by the side of the road grazing on some plants. Pretty amazing.

Morgan is on the observation deck at the Visitor Center. There was a beautiful deck that you could look out on a section of the park. We saw many different species of birds, just hopping around in the trees around the area.

Here are Mark and Morgan in the dingy trying to get a closer look at the moose. Almost every night before the Canada Day crowds, a moose would come in the boggy area at the campground across the road. We would sit and watch the moose from the picnic table at the site across the road.

Here is a picture of our site. It was pretty big. Not very private since we had the water tap right next to us, but it wasn't that bad. We were about 5 miniatures from the beach, and a short drive to the showers. We camped in the Kearney Lake section of the park.

We actually filled the entire camera with pictures, so there will be many more to come over the next little while.
