During our stay we were fortunate enough to see much of the wildlife in Algonquin Park.
We made friends with some chipmunks who lived near our camp site.
One afternoon at the beach, Ariel spotted this school of baby catfish swimming near the shore.
Eagle eye Ariel also found this little tree frog in the shower.
We saw between 18 and 20 moose. This is my very favorite picture!
We were also lucky enough to spot this beaver out of the water. We think he might have been oiling his fur.
This is a VERY LARGE snapping turtle. He lives near the dock at Lake Opeongo. He came out to take a look at us one night. He looked to be almost the size of Jarad. We let him do his thing, and he left us alone.
In total 3 black bear were seen. Mark saw this one and a different one when he went out for a drive early one morning. And the whole family saw one near the visitor center as we drove to the evening program.
We also saw around 5 or 6 white tailed deer. Most of them were shy, but this one just smiled and said "Cheese" or maybe "Grass".
